Who are we?
CAMVIS is the brand name of Cambridge Audio-Visual. Established by two teachers, John & Barbara Bye, in 1973, it has maintained close links with schools and educational establishments ever since. The first junction boxes were made on the kitchen table to go with headphones available at the time. Since then our factory has become the major manufacturer for junction boxes throughout the country.

The CAMVIS brand started in the early eighties with the CH600 range of educational headphones. They were developed after close consultation with teachers and audio-visual advisers and a lot of testing in classrooms with different aged students.

Where are we at?
Over the last year it has become increasingly difficult for teachers to buy audio-visual products suitable for the rigors of the classroom from normal sources. We have thus started to develop the CAMVIS brand with specially designed products, mostly based on trusted quality items no longer available from other sources because they were over specified for the 'high street'.

Our aim:
To produce and supply a range of equipment and accessories that is tailored to the needs of teachers and students and to offer the best price we can while maintaining the quality and reliability needed in the learning environment.
